Jay Abramson

Jay Abramson has been a principal lecturer at Arizona State University since 1998. Prior to arriving at ASU, Abramson taught at community colleges and served as Chair of Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC. Abramson was the recipient of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Distinguished Teaching Award for Lecturers, and the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences Award for Outstanding Instruction and Service at ASU. Abramson was also awarded Teacher of the Year Awards at Texas State Technical College and Amarillo College. Abramson has been active in developing and teaching videos to accompany several courses, including Calculus for Engineers 1 and 2, Calculus for Business Majors 1 and 2, College Algebra, Precalculus and Linear Algebra.
